Adding A New Article
You can add a new record by clicking on the New icon or by pressing Ctrl + N. Clicking New clears all Knowledge Base article fields except KB Number, Title, Initial Entry, and Database Record. Please note: Initial Entry and Database Record are read-only.
Saving An Article
You can save an article by clicking on the Save icon or by pressing Ctrl + S. Clicking Save checks to see if this is a New article, if not, Knowledge Base brings up a message box saying "The currently displayed article will be appended." Click OK. If the article is a new article, Knowledge Base will bring up a message box saying "Article successfully saved."

Deleting An Article
Delete will delete the currently displayed article.

Printing An Article
You can print an article by clicking on the Print icon or by pressing Ctrl + P.
This will print an HTML style report to your default printer.
An example is displayed below.
Setup Categories
You can Add, Edit, and Delete categories by clicking on Setup and Categories or by pressing F2. When you click Add, a few new options will show that will allow you to add a new category to the list box. Clicking Edit also shows a few new options that will allow you to edit the category currently selected in the list box. Clicking Delete will delete the currently selected category. Clicking Close or the "X" will close the window; you can also press Esc on the keyboard.
Setup Users
You can Add, Edit, and Delete users by clicking on Setup and Users or by pressing F3. When you click Add, a few new options will show that will allow you to add a new user to the list box. Clicking Edit also shows a few new options that will allow you to edit the user currently selected in the list box. Clicking Delete will delete the currently selected user. Clicking Close or the "X" will close the window; you can also press Esc on the keyboard.
Knowledge Base Path

You can edit the Knowledge Base database path by clicking on Setup and Knowledge Base Path or by pressing F4. Type in the path and name of the database file. (.MDB) Clicking OK will write the path to the preferences file. Clicking Cancel will close the window without making any changes.
Searching Knowledge Base
You can search Knowledge Base by clicking on the search icon or by pressing Ctrl + E.

General Information

You can access general information by clicking on Help | General. General Information will list the Knowledge Base path, Number of records, The Database Engine and the Database File Format.
Knowledge Base Images And Attachments
You can access the Knowledge Base Article images by clicking on the Images button. The window that shows will have a path location for 10 different images relating to the current Knowledge Base Article. Entering a path to an image will add it to the database. Clicking the View button will show the image.
